Welcome to the Forest School home page! At SMCA we offer a wide range of outdoor education experiences for pupils of all ages, and members of the wider school community. Our Forest School was originally started back in 2017 with the aid of a national lottery grant, and we have since developed our outdoor learning space significantly to turn it into the adaptable and attractive space that it is today. Outdoor learning has massive value for youngsters, and the sessions that I lead help to develop confidence, communication, teambuilding and a love of nature. Whatever the weather or time of year, you will find me out in our Forest School working with our pupils or their parents. If you wish to find out more, or maybe even come in to volunteer, then please contact me through the school office.
