Sited at the front and side of our school building, our Early Years department caters for pupils aged 2-5 years old across 4 different learning zones, each of which has its own pleasant and well equipped outdoor play area. The standard of provision was graded as "Outstanding" at our most recent Ofsted inspection (Nov 2023) and we are rightly proud of the excellent progress that our children make in this vitally important stage of their education.
Our Nursery classes offer both part-time and full-time free places for children aged 3-4, and visits can be arranged by contacting the school office via email: smcaoffice@sbmat.org or by telephone: 01270 902056

Our recently developed Forest School is a true urban oasis where staff and pupils alike can get back to nature, learn bushcraft, teamwork and communication skills, and find out more about the natural world around them. We offer sessions tailoured to individuals, small groups and whole classes, and we regularly run parental workshops where we take what we learn and put it into practice in Delamere forest! Interested in finding out more? Contact our Forest School instructor Mr Royle.
